Banjarharjo, Karanganyar (July 30) — The village of Banjarharjo has become more modern with the introduction of an interactive public service menu. Residents no longer need to worry about finding information on the various services available. Fast and easy public services are something every resident desires. Banjarharjo Village meets this demand by offering a more practical public service menu. This public service menu was initiated by Maulia Salma (21), a Public Administration student participating in the 2024 TIM II Community Service Program (KKN) from Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) in Banjarharjo Village.
The public service menu, innovated by Maulia, takes the form of an X banner displayed in the Banjarharjo Village Office. Banners are seen as having an important role in delivering information to the community. This idea emerged from the village’s desire to improve the quality of public services, which was then implemented by creating a public service menu banner as part of Maulia’s KKN project. The banner lists the types of public services offered at the Banjarharjo Village Office, along with the requirements that residents need to fulfill. This aims to make it easier for residents to understand the necessary documents they need to bring for administrative purposes at the Village Office.
Overall, the new public service menu can be an effective tool for enhancing service quality for village residents by improving convenience, efficiency, accountability, and transparency. With the new public service menu, Banjarharjo Village has demonstrated its commitment to providing the best service to its residents. May this innovation inspire other villages to continue improving.
