Kalipucang Village, Grabag (31/7/2024) – Indah Megaria, a member of Team II Community Service Program (KKN) from Diponegoro University for the 2023/2024 period, has implemented a mono-disciplinary work program focused on optimizing population administration service procedures at the Kalipucang Village Hall.
Village administrative services involve providing administrative assistance directly conducted by the village government for its residents. A key responsibility of the village government is to facilitate administrative needs such as processing family cards (KK), identity cards (KTP), birth certificates, death certificates, child identity cards (KIA), and others. The procedures for population administration services represent an aspect of good governance designed to help residents understand the various requirements for processing different population documents.
To enhance public service quality in administrative matters, particularly at Kalipucang Village Hall, a member of Team II KKN from Diponegoro University for 2023/2024 devised a work program in the field of Public Administration. This program aimed to optimize the procedures for population administration services at the Kalipucang Village Office, Grabag Subdistrict, Magelang Regency. The initiative stemmed from the limited public understanding in Kalipucang Village regarding the requirements for offline and online administrative processes.
As part of the KKN program, the Diponegoro University students actively assisted in optimizing these procedures by creating an innovative standing banner outlining the population administration service procedures. This standing banner served as an effective visual communication tool, explaining the various requirements for processing population documents. Its presence at the Kalipucang Village Hall has made the administration process quicker and easier for the community to understand.
The innovative standing banner on population administration service procedures has successfully provided easier and more transparent access to information for the community. The close collaboration between Diponegoro University students and the village government has yielded positive impacts in strengthening and realizing more effective good governance. Team II KKN students from Diponegoro University hope that this standing banner will enable the community to better understand and follow the necessary steps for population administration processes.
