General Information of SNMPTN Selection
Pangkalan Data Sekolah dan Siswa (PDSS/School and Student Database)
- PDSS is a database containing track records of school performance and academic reports of students who are eligible to register.
- PDSS accommodates the 2006 KTSP National Curriculum and the 2013 Curriculum (Package System and SKS). Schools that do not use the national curriculum are not allowed to register for the PDSS.
- For the same academic year and level, PDSS accommodates curriculum differences between odd and even semesters.
- PDSS registration is carried out by the school and the Principal will be responsible for the validity of the data entered.
School Eligibility
- High School/MA/Vocational School which has NPSN
- Accreditation Requirements:
- Accreditation A: The best 40% in the school
- Accreditation B: The best 25% in the school
- Accreditation C and other: The best 5% in the school
- Filling out the Pangkalan Data Sekolah dan Siswa (PDSS/School and Student Database). Only student data that is filled in is eligible in accordance with the provisions.
Participant Eligibility
- Final year High School/MA/Vocational School students (12th grade) in 2022 who have excellent achievements:
- Having academic achievement and meeting the requirements determined by each State University
- Having their NISN registered at PDSS
- Having the 1st to 5th-semester academic reports submitted at PDSS
- Those who choose the arts and sports study programs are required to upload their Portfolio.
Study Program
- Each student is allowed to choose two study programs from one or two State Universities
- If you choose two study programs, one of which should be in the State University in the same province as the original High School/MA/Vocational School. If you choose one study program, You may choose a State University in any province.
- Students are encouraged not to take different program interests (depending on the provisions of the intended State University)

Student Ranking Provision by the School
- Student ranking is carried out by schools which takes into account the following subject scores.
- Science: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
- Social Studies: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Sociology, Economics, and Geography.
- Language: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Indonesian Literature, Anthropology, and one of the Foreign Languages.
- Vocational School: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, and Expertise Competencies.
- Schools can add other criteria in the form of academic achievement in determining student rankings in case there are similar scores.
- The number of students included in the ranking is in accordance with the provisions of the school’s accreditation quota.

General Information of SBMPTN Selection
Background
Since 2019, the SBMPTN (Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri/Joint Entrance Selection of State Universities) has used the results of the UTBK (Ujian Tertulis Berbasis Komputer/Computer-Based Written Test) and/or other criteria jointly determined by the State Universities. UTBK is an entrance test to higher education conducted by LTMPT. LTMPT is the only institution that administers standardized higher education tests in Indonesia. The implementation of UTBK by LTMPT has advantages because the test results are credible, and standardized and scores are given individually to participants.
2022 UTBK can be followed by students graduating in 2020, 2021, and 2022 from secondary education (High School/MA/Vocational School and equivalent), as well as Package C graduates in 2020, 2021, and 2022 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2022). Participation in the UTBK is the main requirement for participating in the SBMPTN.
Objectives
The Objectives of UTBK
- Predicting prospective students who can complete their studies in higher education properly and on time; and
- Provide opportunities for prospective students to take the test flexibly as they may choose the location and time of the test
The Objectives of SBMPTN
- Selecting prospective students who are predicted to be able to complete their studies in higher education properly and on time based on the results of the UTBK and or other criteria jointly determined by the States Universities, PTKIN and State Polytechnic;
- Provide opportunities for prospective students to choose the State University, PTKIN and State Polytechnic across regions; and
- Assisting universities in picking up prospective students who are predicted to be able to complete their studies in higher education based on academic scores and/or other achievements.
General requirements
- Test Materials: TPS (Scholastic Potential Test), English, and TKA.
- Test Method: Computer Based Written Exam
- Exam Group: Saintek (Science and Technology) or Soshum (Social and Humanities) or Mixed
- Test Opportunity: each participant is only allowed to take it 1 (once)
- Test Results: Each participant will be given individual test results
Registration Requirements and Stages
New students’ admission through the SBMPTN selection is carried out in two stages, namely following the UTBK and registering for the SBMPTN. SBMPTN registration requirements are as follows.
- Have a permanent LTMPT Account.
- Indonesian citizen (WNI) who has a National Identity Number (NIK)
- High school/MA/Vocational School/equivalent students who will graduate in 2022 must have a Certificate of 12th Grade of High School/MA/Vocational School Student or 2022 Package C students with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2022).

- Students graduating from High School/MA/Vocational School/equivalent in 2020 and 2021 or graduates of Package C in 2020 and 2021 must have a degree certificate with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2022). High school graduates or equivalent from abroad must have an equivalent degree certificate.
- Those who do not pass the SNMPTN pathway in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
- Test Requirements:
- Participants who will choose the Saintek study program will take part in TPS (Scholastic Potential Test), English, and TKA (Academic Potential Test) Saintek;
- Participants who will choose the Soshum study program will take part in TPS, English, and TKA Soshum; and
- Participants who will choose a Mixed Study Program (Science and Social Sciences), then follow TPS, English, TKA Saintek and TKA Soshum.
- The medical and Dentistry Study Program can only be chosen by high school/MA students majoring in science.
- Have adequate health so as not to interfere with the study process.
- Participants who choose the Arts and Sports study programs are required to upload a portfolio.
- Blind participants are required to upload a Blind Statement Letter
- Participants can make the payment for the UTBK fees through Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BRI bank.
UTBK Materials
- Tes Potensi Skolastik (TPA/Scholastic Potential Test)
- TPS measures Cognitive Ability which is considered essential for success in formal schools, especially in higher education. TPS that will be tested is General Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Knowledge and Comprehension, as well as Reading and Writing Comprehension Ability. Quantitative abilities will include Basic Mathematical Knowledge and Mastery.
- English Proficiency Test
- It measures the English language skills needed to support learning in higher education.
- Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA/Academic Ability Test)
- It measures the knowledge and understanding of science taught in schools and is necessary for a student to be successful in pursuing higher education. TKA also measures cognitive abilities that are directly related to the content of subjects learned in school. The emphasis of the test is on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).
UTBK Exam Group
UTBK exam group is divided into 3 (three) as follows.
- Science and Technology (Saintek) Exam Group with TPS, English, and TKA Saintek exam materials (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Allocation of 195 minutes.
- Social and Humanities (Soshum) Exam Group with TPS, English, and TKA Soshum exam materials (Geography, History, Sociology, and Economics). Allocation of 195 minutes.
- Mixed Exam Group (Saintek and Soshum) with TPS, English, TKA Saintek and TKA Soshum exam materials. Allocation 285 minutes

Registration Stages
In general, the stages of UTBK-SBMPTN registration are as follows:
- LTMPT Account Registration
- All prospective UTBK-SBMPTN applicants must use NISN, NPSN, and Date of Birth on the https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id page.
- Login
- Using the LTMPT account at https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id
- Selecting the Data Verification and Validation Menu
- Fill in personal information, upload the latest passport photo (colour), and verify the data entered
- Choose the UTBK-SBMPTN Registration Menu
- Complete (1) Personal information, (2) Choose a Study Program, (3) Upload a Portfolio, (4) Choose a PTN UTBK Center, and (5) get a Payment Slip
- Bank Payment
- Payment is made at partner banks (Bank Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BRI) using a payment slip that must be made no later than 1×24 hours.
- Printing Out the UTBK-SBMPTN Participant Cards
- Login to the https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id page and choose the UTBK-SBMPTN registration menu to print out the UTBK Participant Card
- Taking Part in the UTBK

Study Program
Each student is allowed to choose two study programs at one State University or one study program at two Universities each.
UTBK Fee
- 200,000, – (two hundred thousand rupiah) for the Saintek or Soshum exam group.
- 300,000,- (three hundred thousand rupiah) for the Mixed exam group.
All paid UTBK fees are non-refundable for any reason.

Seleksi Bibit Unggul Berprestasi (SBUB/Selection of Outstanding Candidate)
Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) opens the opportunity to be the new student candidates for the undergraduate and applied undergraduate programs through the Seleksi Bibit Unggul Berprestasi (SBUB) in 2020.
The requirements for joining this selection :
- Graduated in the last 3 years (2019, 2020 and 2021) from Senior High School / MA / Vocational School / Vocational MA
- Have an average academic score by the 7th semester (Scale 10).
- Passed the school exam
- Never failing a grade
- The choice of the study programs according to the requirements of the origin of Senior High School / MA / Vocational School / Vocational MA
Registration Procedure :

- Participant collects the registration files

The file requirements that must be collected for those who pass the file / administration include:
- The latest photo in color (blue background), size 4 × 6, as much as 1 pcs
- Photocopy of the degree certificate / certificate of graduate for 2019 and 2020 graduates)
- Photocopy of the certificate of national exam result (SKHUN) (for 2019 graduates)
- Photocopy of the Identity card (KTP / SIM / Student Card)
- Photocopy of the 1st – 6th Semester academic reports, and 1st – 4th semester for graduates of 2021

- All documents are sent to the SBUB Committee at teh ICT Building, UNDIP Campus Jl. Prof. Sudarto SH Tembalang Semarang 50275.

International Undergraduate Program

INDEPENDENT TEST (UM)
Considering the high demand from the society for the Independent Test Selection, Universitas Diponegoro will reopen the Independent Test (UM) using a portfolio of the academic report and the Online Scholastic Potential Test (TPS).
OPTIONS OF INDEPENDENT TEST (UM) LINE FOR BACHELOR DEGREE:
You can choose one of the three lines below:
- The KIP line and/or lower-income groups as evidenced by the ownership of the KIP (Kartu Indonesia Pintar/Smart Indonesia Card) which is assigned UKT Groups 1-3 without SPI
- Regular line, payment includes the highest Tuition Fee and Capital Fee according to the group options (1 or 2)
- Partnership line (for the public), payment includes the highest Tuition Fee and Capital Fee above the class II

REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING THIS SELECTION :

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
- Participants create a user on the registration website using their email, CLICK HERE
- Participants choose the UM S1 option line and choose/fill out the Capital Fee. If you have saved it, then the choice of Line and the Amount of the Capital Fee cannot be changed. Make sure your choice is correct.
- Participants make the payment for the registration fee at the designated bank (Bank BNI, Bank BRI, Bank BTN, Bank Mandiri) CLICK HERE
- After completing the payment, Participants log in to their accounts and click Cetak Kartu Peserta. Then, the Isi Raport and Wawasan Kebangsaan menu will appear.
- Participants fill out the portfolio data (The academic report of the 1st – 5th Semester and or other Achievements) through the registration website,
- Participants are required to upload the Statement Letter signed by the participant and his/her parent (in pdf format) and print out the participant card on the online registration website. If you don’t print the card, you won’t be registered on the Exam Scheduling.
- Participants take the test according to the schedule stated on the card
Choice of the Study Program Group
- SAINTEK : 2 choices of study program (there are 34 Undergradute SAINTEK study programs)
- SOSHUM : 2 choices of study program (there are 17 undergraduate SOSHUM study programs)
- MIXED : 2 choices of study program (there are 17 undergraduate SOSHUM study programs and 34 Undergradute SAINTEK study programs)
