\"\"<\/a>Pudakpayung, (23\/04)<\/strong>. Safari Kurma is a program organized by the Public Administration Student Association and facilitated by the Social Community Department. This annual event takes place every Ramadan and\u00a0is aimed\u00a0at demonstrating\u00a0compassion and goodwill through social service activities and communal breaking of the fast with orphanage children on the first day, followed by distributing iftar meals to the community on the second day.<\/p>\n

The purpose of Safari Kurma is to strengthen bonds, especially between the Public Administration Student Association and the orphanage children, enhance piety and social awareness, and motivate the orphanage children to keep learning and instill values of kindness. For us, it is also a moment to feel warmth and togetherness. Interesting, right? Curious about the activities?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In 2024, Safari Kurma\u00a0was held\u00a0on March 23-24. On the first day, we visited the Manaarul Mabrur Orphanage\u00a0located\u00a0at Jl. Shirotol Mustaqim No.1 Pudakpayung, Banyumanik District, Semarang City. The event started with an opening, a recitation of the Holy\u00a0Qur’an, welcoming remarks, ice-breaking activities, and an Islamic quiz.\u00a0The quiz included identifying short surahs, guessing the name of angels, and mention the pillars of Islam.\u00a0The children were very enthusiastic to answer. Of course, there were\u00a0useful\u00a0prizes for those who bravely and correctly answered.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>While waiting\u00a0for the time\u00a0to break the fast, there were fun games like a rubber band relay race. The orphanage children were divided into several groups and worked together to complete the relay. Curious about the excitement?\u00a0Let\u2019s\u00a0see the picture beside it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>As maghrib time approached, the activities continued with prayers, a short sermon, breaking the fast together, maghrib prayer, and continued with the handover of donations. The donations included necessities and some money. The day\u00a0ended\u00a0with a group photo and closing.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>All the organizers and orphanage children were\u00a0very happy\u00a0and grateful for\u00a0the successful completion of\u00a0the first\u00a0day’s\u00a0activities. What do you think about the fun of the first day of Safari Kurma?\u00a0Let’s\u00a0move on to the second day, which was just as exciting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>On the second day, 40 iftar meal boxes\u00a0were distributed\u00a0to the community around Jl. Raya Sendangmulyo, Meteseh, Tembalang District, Semarang City. The Meteseh community was very enthusiastic and felt helped by this iftar distribution. The hope is that Safari Kurma becomes not just a work program of the student association but also a realization of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service.\u00a0In the future, it\u00a0is hoped\u00a0that community service activities like this will continue as initially intended and provide significant benefits\u00a0not only\u00a0within the Public Administration Student Association\u00a0but also for\u00a0the wider community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
