The Bachelor of Public Administration Study Program has been established on January 1, 1969<\/strong>, along with the establishment of the Faculty of Social and Politics (the embryo of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences). At that time, it was known as Administrasi Negara<\/em>\/State Administration.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, based on Undip Rector Decree No. 08\/SKPT09\/1983 on January 6, 1983<\/strong>, the name of the Faculty of Social and Politics was changed to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), with the following Majority\/Study Programs: Administrative Studies Major which covered a State Administration study program and a Commercial Administration study program.<\/p>\n

Only in 2006<\/strong>, the name of the State Administration Major changed to the Public Administration Major. Meanwhile, based on changes in nomenclature, it changed to the Department of Public Administration starting in 2015<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro Regulation Number 2 of 2019 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of Elements under the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, the Department of Public Administration which was previously integrated with the functions of the Bachelor of Public Administration Study Program is finally separate.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Department is an element of the faculty\/school that supports the implementation of academic activities in one or several branches of science, technology, and art in the type of academic education or professional education while the study program is a unit of educational and learning activities that has a certain curriculum and learning methods in one type of academic education and\/or professional education.<\/p>\n

Starting in 2019<\/strong>, the management of the Bachelor of Public Administration is under the Bachelor of Public Administration Study Program, Department of Public Administration.<\/p>\n
