Semarang, August 23, 2025 – Sispreneur Community, an entrepreneurial platform initiated by the SDGs student interest group in Public Administration, FISIP UNDIP, under the leadership of Muthia Fakhira Tedja, presented an inspiring breakthrough through the SheTalks Workshop themed “Empowering Women, Inspiring Change, Building Futures.” Sispreneur is committed to nurturing a generation of empowered, creative, and independent young women, in line with the mission of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the World Class University (WCU) agenda of Universitas Diponegoro. Carrying the theme “Empowering Women, Inspiring Change, Building Futures,” Sispreneur serves as a platform for young women’s empowerment to develop entrepreneurial potential, creativity, and economic independence. Sispreneur is committed to becoming a space that encourages female students to be empowered, to build networks, and to bring positive change to themselves and the businesses they run.
The Sispreneur initiative directly supports the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Furthermore, this activity strengthens UNDIP’s role as a World Class University that excels not only in academics but is also active in creating social innovations through student empowerment.
One part of Sispreneur is the SheTalks Workshop, which was held on Saturday, August 23, 2025. This SheTalks session presented female entrepreneurship practitioners to share tips and tricks with female students interested in developing their entrepreneurial interests. The workshop featured Syanaz Nadya, Founder of Rorokenes Indonesia, who shared her experience in building a sustainable local business with social impact. Her story became a real inspiration that women’s entrepreneurship is not only about profit but also about courage, social concern, and contribution to sustainable development. “Women’s participation in entrepreneurship is still relatively low in Indonesia. Therefore, it is important for us to open spaces for learning and empowerment starting from the university level,” explained Muthia Fakhira Tedja on why SheTalks was organized.
This activity not only provided motivation but also offered practical guidance on the first steps to starting a business, risk management strategies, and building business networks. The enthusiasm of the participants was reflected in the lively interactive discussions, with various questions regarding challenges and opportunities in the business world.
Through this session, participants were encouraged to foster entrepreneurial motivation and understand the great potential women possess. In addition, practical guidance was given on the initial steps to start a business in a simple and applicable way. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from various questions about business strategies, risk management, and ways to build networks.
Sispreneur believes that young women need spaces of inspiration to hone their entrepreneurial skills from university level. SheTalks is presented as one of the efforts to nurture a generation of empowered and independent young women.
With a spirit of collaboration, Sispreneur will continue to present programs that inspire and empower young women. This activity is expected to become a starting point for the emergence of young female entrepreneurs from UNDIP.
