“In an effort to enhance transparency and access to information for the community, a Public Administration student from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has carried out an innovative monodisciplinary work program. Dewi Ramadhani, a student participating in UNDIP’s 2024 Community Service Program (KKN), is the driving force behind this initiative. The program focuses on creating a government website titled “Bojong Village Information Portal.”

This initiative by Dewi Ramadhani is part of a commitment to developing more modern and efficient governance at the village level. Through this information portal, the residents of Bojong Village will have easier access to essential information related to village governance, development programs, and available public services.

The website is expected to serve as a communication bridge between the village government and the community while encouraging active citizen participation in village development. With this information portal, transparency in managing village funds and implementing government programs can also be improved.

On July 31, 2024, Mr. Yatmin, the Secretary of Bojong Village, expressed positive feedback about this initiative. He stated, “This village website greatly facilitates access to information, making it more transparent. We deeply appreciate the efforts of Dewi Ramadhani and the UNDIP KKN team in helping us enhance information openness for the community.”

Dewi Ramadhani’s efforts as a Public Administration student at UNDIP highlight the importance of the younger generation in applying their academic knowledge to address real-world societal issues. This work program, carried out as part of UNDIP’s 2024 KKN, is also a tangible example of how information technology can be utilized to improve the quality of public services at the village government level.”
