Semarang, October 29, 2024 – The Head of the Public Administration Department at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) attended the International Conference on Social and Political and Communication Sciences (ICoSPACS) held at 17 August 1945 University (UNTAG) in Semarang. The department head, who also serves as Deputy Secretary General 1 of the Indonesian Association of Public Administration (AsIAN), represented the AsIAN Chair at this prestigious event.

The ICoSPACS event, conducted in a hybrid format (both in-person and online), was organized by the Forum of Deans of Social and Political Sciences (FDKISIP) with the theme “Digital Transformation in Governance.” This theme highlights issues surrounding digital transformation in governance, a central focus amid the current digital era.

The conference featured prominent speakers from both Indonesia and abroad, who presented various perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in implementing digital transformation within the public sector. The presence of key figures from various academic and governmental institutions is expected to enrich insights and foster collaboration between organizations in advancing research and digital governance practices in Indonesia and internationally.
