Public Administration History

The Department of Public Administration has existed since 1 January 1969 with the establishment of the Faculty of Social and Politics (the forerunner of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences) but the department was known under the name of Department of State Administration.

It its development, the Decree of Undip Rector No 08 / SKPT09 / 1983 dated January 6, 1983 changed the Faculty of Social and Political Affairs into the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), with the Department / Study Program as follows; State Administration and Business Administration.

It was in the year of 2006, State Administration Study Program changed its name into Public Administration Study Program.  While based on nomenclature changes, started from 2015 the study program was changed into the Department of Public Administration.
