S1 Administrasi Publik
The Undergraduate Program in Public Administration has existed since January 1, 1969, coinciding with the establishment of the Faculty of Social and Politics (the precursor to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences). At that time, it was named “Administrasi Negara” (State Administration).
1983
Furthermore, based on Rector’s Decree of Undip No. 08/SKPT09/1983 dated January 6, 1983, the name of the Faculty of Social and Politics was changed to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), with the following Departments/Study Programs: Department of Administrative Sciences, with the study programs of State Administration and Business Administration.
2006
It was only in 2006 that the name of the Department of State Administration changed to the Department of Public Administration. Furthermore, based on a nomenclature change, starting in 2015 it was renamed the Department of Public Administration.
2019
In accordance with Rector Regulation of Diponegoro University Number 2 of 2019 concerning the Organization and Working Procedures of Elements Under the Rector of Diponegoro University, the Department of Public Administration, which was previously integrated with the functions of the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration, was ultimately separated.
Furthermore, a Department is an element of a faculty/school that supports the implementation of academic activities in one or several branches of science, technology, and arts within the scope of academic education or professional education. Meanwhile, a Study Program is a unit of educational and learning activities that has a specific curriculum and teaching methods within one type of academic education and/or professional education.
Thus, starting in 2019, the management of the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration has been under the Undergraduate Program in Public Administration, Department of Public Administration.
